About Us:

Aubo Robotics is a global leader in the development of collaborative robots (cobots) that are transforming automation across industries. Our team is dedicated to creating intelligent, flexible, and user-friendly robotic solutions. We are now expanding our efforts to bring the power of automation to a wider range of customers and applications.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented Robotics Applications & Sales Engineer. In this hybrid technical-commercial role, you will serve as both a technical expert and a trusted advisor to our clients. You will bridge the gap between our advanced robotic platforms and our customers’ real-world manufacturing challenges.

Beyond system integration and deployment, you will play a critical role in customer engagement, solution pitching, and relationship building. We believe the best customer service and trust stem from engineers who understand both technology and business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Sales & Client Engagement: Actively engage with prospective clients to build trust, understand their automation needs, conduct feasibility assessments, and perform product/solution demonstrations.
  • Solution Design & Prototyping: Design and implement practical, reliable robotic workcells and applications using Python and C++ for customization and peripheral integration.
  • System Integration & Programming: Develop and configure application software within the ROS (Robot Operating System) framework, integrating peripherals like vision systems, grippers, and PLCs.
  • On-Site Deployment & Customer Success: Lead the on-site installation, commissioning, and debugging of robotic solutions at customer facilities. Provide technical training and ongoing support to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
  • Customization & Technical Discovery: Create custom scripts/interfaces (including embedded controllers like STM32) and work closely with internal business development teams to identify new sales opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Recent graduates with strong technical fundamentals and a passion for technical sales/customer engagement are welcome to apply!
  • Interpersonal & Sales Mindset: Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and active-listening skills. A genuine enthusiasm for interacting with people, solving customer problems, and driving business growth.
  • Technical & Programming Fundamentals: Practical programming skills for automation and integration, particularly in Python and/or C++.
  • Hands-on Hardware/Software Experience: Familiarity with ROS (ROS1/ROS2), hardware integration, microcontrollers (e.g., STM32), and industrial I/O communication.
  • Self-Driven & Responsible: Strong sense of ownership, proactive problem-solving attitude, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English. Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and/or Spanish (reading, listening, and speaking) is preferred to collaborate effectively with our global engineering teams and support diverse clients.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
  • Prior experience or strong interest in sales, technical presales, customer service, or commercial product pitching.
  • A GitHub repository or project portfolio showcasing practical robotics or automation integration projects.
  • Participation in hands-on engineering competitions such as FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), DARPA Challenges, or SAE AutoDrive.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven language for non-technical business owners.

Application Process:

If you are a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working with both advanced technology and people, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a cover letter to [email protected], explaining why you are excited about this role at Aubo Robotics USA. Applicants are highly encouraged to include links to project portfolios, sales achievements, or GitHub profiles.
